The Liberal Cup Public House & Brewery is a local favorite for many reasons, although we are often told it is the food that brings people back time and again. We make traditional favorites with the freshest ingredients—never processed—and we add a local twist to make them even better.
Try our Grilled Reuben, Haddock Napoleon, or Shepherd's Pie and see for yourself! Chef Kirk takes advantage of Maine’s bountiful seasonal resources as often as possible. Regularly appearing in specials are fruits and vegetables from local fields and farms, fish from our hardworking friends on the coast, and mushrooms that Chef Kirk forages himself. And when it comes to specials, our offerings on Friday and Saturday evenings rival those of any fine dining restaurant in the state.
